TRAG is a Brazilian agribusiness insurtech that structures agroclimatic insurance using climate data and connects that protection with agricultural-credit journeys.
The challenge
Agricultural-insurance operations bring together producer and location information, coverage and risk parameters, quotation options, proposals, policies, and climate data during the coverage period. These connected workflows needed to be supported across different organizational roles and operating stages.
Lupit's responsibility
Lupit contributed frontend and backend engineering and continued development for TRAG's insurance-management platform. This work supported application workflows, permissions, climate-data processing, reporting, and platform maintenance without claiming ownership of TRAG's insurance methodology or climate models.
Delivered capabilities
The verified implementation includes role- and organization-based operations; workflows for simulations, quotations, proposals, and policies; precipitation and temperature analysis with climate visualizations and trigger configuration; ongoing climate-data tracking during coverage periods; and operational documents, spreadsheet exports, and batch quotation imports.
